Attorney Profile

Danelle Carter Duffy was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She is a graduate of the Washington University School of Law, where upon graduation she received the prestigious Honor of Order of the Barristers.  She received her undergraduate education at Webster University.  There she majored in Business Marketing and graduated with honors.  Attorney Duffy is licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri. She is a member of the Missouri Bar and the Mound City Bar. She is an active member of the Workers’ Compensation Committee for the Bar Association of St. Louis.

Attorney Duffy began her legal career as an Assistant Attorney General for the Attorney General’s Office of Missouri. There she defended the Second Injury Fund for the state of Missouri. As Assistant Attorney General she tried numerous cases and argued cases before the Labor Commission and the Missouri Court of Appeals. Her vast experience as a defense attorney gave her invaluable knowledge on the philosophy of defense companies and on how to get the best compensation for her plaintiff clients.

Attorney Duffy is the sole owner of the law office of Danelle Carter Duffy, LLC.
There she has spent the last 5 years solely representing those persons injured on the job, in vehicle accidents or in accidents caused by the negligence of others. Some of her practice focus has been on obtaining treatment for people who have been injured on the job, but refused treatment by their employer.

Danelle Duffy is the first person in her family to become an attorney. Her mother, father, uncles and cousins are all nurses, teachers or blue-collar workers. Consequently, she understands first hand the anxiety a person might experience in filing a workers’ compensation claim or retaining an attorney for a personal injury case.  Attorney Duffy understands a person’s need to have their case resolved swiftly but professionally.
